You know where you want your charity to go. You’re just not sure of the clearest way to get there. Maybe you’re turning an idea into a charity, and the process feels like a maze. Maybe you registered a while ago and never quite got going. Maybe you’re established, busier than ever, and it still isn’t turning into progress. It’s rarely a lack of effort. It’s usually the foundations – governance, strategy, systems and income – that were never quite put right, quietly holding everything else back.
When they’re right, the difference is real. Decisions stick. Your strategy forms the work you do.
Systems stop getting in the way. Income doesn’t rest on one funder. And you get to focus on the cause instead of wrestling with the machinery.
I spent around 15 years working inside UK charities – close to the day-to-day, across operations, systems, fundraising and strategy. I saw the same patterns again and again, in charity after charity. That’s what led to the four foundations and to founding Evolve Catalyst. I’m not a consultant who hands over a report and leaves. I work alongside you: help you reach the decision, then help you act on it, so what changes stays changed after I step back.
No cause should be held back by the organisation built to serve it.
