Award-winning CNN Anchor and Chief Investigative Correspondent, Pamela Brown inspires audiences to advocate for themselves and stay the course when someone tries to shake them off. Brown began her career at ABC7/WJLA-TV and NewsChannel8 in Washington D.C., where she became a Sunday evening anchor and an Emmy®-nominated special projects reporter covering several national and international stories. Known for her journalistic tenacity, Brown now anchors CNN Newsroom. Brown previously served as the network’s Justice and Supreme Court correspondent covering law enforcement, as well as issues related to the Department of Justice and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Grief, Postpartum Anxiety, and Getting Through
Pamela Brown, CNN Senior White House Correspondent, still feels the loss of her mother like the day it happened. Her mother passed away due to a rare blood cancer at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and Pamela was unable to move through the grieving process due to social distancing. Pamela gave birth to her second child right before losing her mother, and began to experience intense postpartum anxiety until she received the appropriate help and support. Today, she hopes that by sharing her story of grief, postpartum anxiety, and loss, she can remind audiences that they are not alone, and it is more than okay to ask for help.
