Biography
Actor, comedian, and writer Mikey Day is a cast member on Saturday Night Live and Host of Netflix’s hit baking contest series Is It Cake? Day joined SNL as a writer for the 2013-14 season, and went on to become a beloved cast member, gaining immediate recognition for his wildly popular “Haunted Elevator (Ft. David S. Pumpkins)” sketch with Tom Hanks. He has created impressions of Donald Trump Jr., Merrick Garland, and more, in addition to writing headline-making skits for the iconic show. Day brings comedy and star power to engaging events, earning rave reviews from hosts: “Mikey was great — and we really enjoyed having him with us! He was a complete professional to work with, had a great on-stage chat with us, and we were excited that he decided to also join us at our Speaker Dinner and our Attendee Party! Day’s credits include head writer on Cartoon Network’s Incredible Crew, co-head writer and cast member on NBC’s Maya & Marty, and co-writer for the comedy Brother Nature. Alongside SNL writer Streeter Seidell, Day wrote Home Sweet Home Alone, and the duo is currently writing the Disney reboots of Inspector Gadget and Space Camp, as well as The Rugrats Movie for Nickelodeon/Paramount. Day’s film credits include Brittany Runs a Marathon, Little – opposite Issa Rae, Adam Sandler’s Hubie Halloween, and Black Adam starring The Rock. He is currently filming the Jerry Seinfeld film Unfrosted for Netflix.
