7.2 You should get professional or specialist advice before taking, or not taking, any action on the basis of the content on this website.

7.3 Although we make reasonable efforts to keep the website up to date, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, express or implied, that its content is accurate, complete or up to date.

8. Businesses we feature and recommend

8.1 We choose the businesses we feature on editorial grounds, as explained in How we choose. Featuring or recommending a business means we think it is worth considering. It is not a guarantee of its work, prices, availability or suitability for you.

8.2 If you deal with a business you find through the website, or that we recommend to you, your agreement is with that business, not with us. Please make your own checks before you commit to anything.

8.3 Our recommendation service is free. We give recommendations in good faith, based on what you tell us and what we know at the time.

8.4 If a business pays us for anything, we say so clearly. Payment never buys a place in the handbook.

9.5 We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by a virus, distributed denial-of-service attack or other technologically harmful material that may infect your equipment, programs, data or other material because you used the website or downloaded content from it or from any website linked to it.

10. Information you send us

10.1 We use what you send us through the website's forms only to deal with your message and, if you suggest a business, to consider it for the handbook, as described in our privacy notice. Please don't send anything that is confidential to someone else, or that you don't have the right to share.

10.2 If you suggest or tell us about a business, you confirm that the information is accurate as far as you know, and you allow us to use it to consider the business and, if we choose, to feature it. We decide what to publish, and we may check, edit or not use what you send.

10.3 You must not send us any unlawful, harmful, misleading or infringing material through the website.

11. General

11.1 If any part of these terms is found by a court or other competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that part will be treated as deleted and the rest of these terms will continue in full force.

11.2 If we don't enforce any right or provision in these terms, that doesn't mean we have waived it.

11.3 You may not transfer any of your rights or obligations under these terms without our prior written consent. We may transfer ours.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

12.1 These terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by English law.
