Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We keep them to a minimum.
Cookies we always use
These are needed for the site to work and be secure, so they don't need consent: security cookies set by our hosting and security providers to tell people from automated attacks, and login cookies for the people who edit the site. We also remember your cookie choice in your browser's local storage, so we don't ask again, and we keep an anonymous record of each choice (a reference, the choice and the date, with no IP address) for 24 months, so that we can show what was chosen. You can see your reference under "Cookie settings".
Cookies we use only with your consent
Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_…), which help us understand how the site is used. They are only set if you choose "Accept analytics cookies", and nothing is sent to Google before you do. You can change your choice at any time using the button below, or the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
