Meet Robyn Dwyer

Robyn Dwyer is a global news anchor and international broadcaster. With more than two decades in television and radio, Robyn has worked for some of the world’s best known broadcasters including the BBC and ITN, specialising in business news. Now a presenter for CGTN, she anchors live news programmes as well as documentaries, and fronts special events.

As an event host and moderator she has chaired debates and conferences around the world, focusing on finance, energy, retail, sustainability and the environment. She often interviews political leaders, bankers and environmental stakeholders. And in the course of her career in business news she has interviewed CEOs from Richard Branson to the head of Citroen.

Fluent in French, Robyn’s career has seen her work in Istanbul, Paris, Sydney and London. A focus on American politics led to her conceiving and presenting a programme on the US elections for TRT World. Her international news experience also saw her presenting world news for Sky and she has been an Anchor for TalkTV on their flagship evening news programme.

Robyn has also worked for some of the biggest names in radio. She has presented the news for Classic FM, Magic Radio, Smooth Radio, and Absolute Radio. She has covered business for LBC and Share Radio, where she presented a live magazine programme. She also puts her voice to work as a voiceover artist.
