About Ray Stubbs
For over four decades television and radio broadcaster Ray Stubbs has covered a variety of sporting events working for BBC Sport, BT Sport and American network ESPN. He has presented famous programmes including Match of the Day, Grandstand, Football Focus and Final Score after spending five years as a junior professional footballer with Tranmere Rovers and when asked about his working life he replied, “How the worst left back in the history of the club went on to present Match of the Day is a mystery”
