Meet Janey Lee Grace

Janey Lee Grace is well known for her appearances on The Big Show – Steve Wright in the Afternoon on BBC Radio 2, but not many know that she also had a top ten hit record in the 90s with Cola Boy (Seven Ways To Love) and toured the world as a backing singer with music legends including George Michael and Wham, Kim Wilde, and Boy George.

In addition to her music career, Janey has written five books on holistic living, including the number one Amazon best-seller Imperfectly Natural Woman. She currently writes columns for various magazines and runs training workshops and consultations on Media Breakthrough for holistic businesses and solopreneurs.

Janey runs the hugely successful health and well-being website www.imperfectlynatural.com and has been voted Number One in the Who’s Who in Natural Beauty Industry yearbook for three consecutive years. She has appeared on Celebrity Antiques Road Trip with her Radio 2 co-host Tim Smith and makes regular contributions on shows including Good Morning Britain, The Wright Stuff, BBC Breakfast, and Sky TV Entertainment News.

In 2018, Janey made the life-changing decision to ditch the drink. Like many, she found there were signs pointing her toward this new way of living, and once she recognized them, there was no turning back. With a long-standing mission to help people improve their health simply by making better lifestyle choices—often hidden by the chaos of modern life—ditching alcohol became a new chapter in her journey toward health, happiness, and well-being. And so, The Sober Club was born.

Janey now regularly presents shows on BBC Local Radio and has recently published her memoir, From Wham to Woo – A Life on the Mic, a fun and engaging blast through the 80s and 90s, recounting her time as a backing singer with Wham, Kim Wilde, and Boy George, her own chart success with Cola Boy, and her years in radio with Steve Wright.

She also delivers an inspiring and entertaining talk based on her memoir titled ‘From Wham to Woo’, sharing her extraordinary journey from pop stardom to holistic well-being and sobriety advocacy.
