Biography
Charlotte Hawkins – Broadcaster
Charlotte is one of the anchors on ITV’s daily breakfast show Good Morning Britain, joining the show when it launched in 2014.
She is also an established fashion reporter for ITV Racing.
Before joining ITV, Charlotte worked at Sky News for seven years on Sunrise with Eamonn Holmes. She also hosted Sky News at 9am, her own daily show of breaking news and interviews. Charlotte has interviewed not only a number of prominent politicians over the years, but also top celebrity names such as David Beckham, Oprah Winfrey, Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Elton John.
Classical music is a huge passion for Charlotte’s. She is the UK host for Andre Rieu’s portfolio of work which sees her appear in cinemas around the world hosting broadcasts of the concerts from the UK.
Charlotte hosted a series called Young Classical Stars on Classic FM. In 2020 she partnered with Sony Classical and exclusively released podcast Last, Past & Blast. Additionally, she curated a three CD collection titled Mindful Moments featuring classical music masterpieces.
Charlotte is an animal lover and presented a Tonight documentary on Dangerous Dogs.
Charlotte is a mum and a patron of many charities including Motor Neurone Disease Association.
