Catherine Tyldesley

Catherine is a renowned actor, known for her roles as Iris Moss in the BBC drama Lilies, Eva Price on the ITV soap opera Coronation Street from 2011 to 2018 and Karen Norris in BBC One sitcom Scarborough in 2019. Catherine has also starred in ITV primetime dramas, including Viewpoint and Macdonald and Dodd. In 2023 she will be seen starring in Channel 5’s new crime thriller A Good Ship Murder.

As a television personality, Catherine participated in the seventeenth series of Strictly Come Dancing. As a result of her success on the show, Catherine took part in the Strictly Come Dancing Tour performing in arenas across the country. In 2021 she showed off her cooking skills in Cooking With The Stars as well as her incredible vocal ability by winning All Star Musicals at Christmas, both on ITV1.

She has presented three Tonight programmes and fronted 100 Greatest Walks, both for ITV, as well as regular cooking segments on Lorraine. Catherine has also shown off her vibrant personality on popular shows such as Catchphrase, The Hit List, The Chase, Celebrity Antiques Roadtrip and more.

Commercially, Catherine has worked alongside major brands such as Very, Littlewoods, Fairy, Tonies, Vodafone, Fisher Price, Symprove, Matalan and Tesco.

Catherine is a proud mum to son Alfie aged 8 and daughter Iris aged 1 and is passionate about cooking – publicly documenting her weight loss journey – lifestyle and fashion, health and wellness, history and music.
