Meet Dr. Bella Smith

Dr. Bella Smith: a dedicated NHS GP with over two decades of experience, serving as a practice partner and a passionate advocate for women’s health. Inspired by her mother’s lifelong dedication as an NHS nurse, Bella’s upbringing fostered an environment where no topic was off-limits—a rarity she acknowledges and aims to replicate in her practice.

As an ambassador for the Eve Appeal and a well-travelled media spokesperson known as The Digital GP, Bella is committed to breaking down barriers surrounding women’s health. She witnesses firsthand the impact of knowledge gaps, body illiteracy, and societal taboos on her patients’ well being, driving her to advocate for open dialogue and education.

Despite being labeled as ‘not sporty’ during her school years, Bella defied expectations and emerged as a marathon and ultra-marathon enthusiast. Her journey from skepticism to accomplishment fuels her mission to empower others to challenge perceived limitations and embrace their potential.

Dr. Bella Smith is a keen promoter of women’s health, challenge stereotypes, and inspire others to realize their capabilities and it’s her belief, that when it comes to health and wellness, everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive.

Dr. Bella is part of The Wellness Women trio, alongside Baz Moffat, the Athlete, and Dr. Emma Ross, the Scientist.
