Biography
Alexander Armstrong’s Background
Alexander Armstrong is best known for being one half of comedy duo Armstrong and Miller. Their eponymous show ran from 1997 to 2001 and was renewed in 2007 for the BAFTA-winning The Armstrong and Miller Show. His credits also include Love Life, Life Begins, Mutual Friends and Hunderby.
Alexander has also turned his hand to straight acting and has starred in numerous TV dramas including Love Life, Life Begins, Saxondale and Julia Davis’ 2012 comedy Hunderby. Alexander has been working on voicing the children cartoon series of Danger Mouse. In 2014, Alexander appeared in the ITV2 post-apocalyptic sitcom Cockroaches. Music is also a huge love of Alexander’s. In 2015 he joined forces with the stars of the Warner Music Group, working on a medley if classical songs for his forthcoming album. In 2013 he performed his debut show as a singer at St James’ Theatre, London.
